About Us

Advanced Professional Degree (APD) Consulting Club at the University of Florida (UF) was founded in December 2020 by three Ph.D. students in the UF Graduate Program in Biomedical Sciences: Siddhant (Sid) Gupte, Mai Tanaka, and Aishwarya Kulkarni. We sought to create an organization that would provide resources and develop business acumen for advanced degree students interested in the field of consulting.

The UF APD Consulting Club hosts various seminars ranging from interview prep to case interview workshops and guest speakers from consulting firms. Although the club is still in its infancy, we are thrilled to expand our APD Consulting Club and build partnerships with consulting firms around the country.

RECRUITMENT & NETWORKING​
Meet with UF alumni and consultants to gain insights into how they embarked on careers and navigated through the transition from a graduate/professional school to life as a consultant. We host a variety of networking and recruiting webinars.
PRO BONO CONSULTING OPPORTUNITY
Provide APDCC members with an opportunity to gain first-hand experience at consulting for a local organization. APDCC members work with a local organization to tackle a business problem.
OFFLINE CASE PRACTICE
Hone your case interview skills by casing with another APDCC member. Fill out this form to find case partners for additional practice.
CASE COMPETITION
Offer graduate and professional degree students the opportunity to work in teams on a business case.
